Gas scheduled for for Ramazan

ISLAMABAD (Feb 17) – Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has arranged uninterrupted gas supply for consumers in Ramazan.

SNGPL will supply uninterrupted gas supply to consumers of Punjab, Khyber Paktunkwa, Islamabad and Azad Jumu Kashmir from 3 AM to 10.30 Pm during the holy Month of Ramazan.

According to schedule issued by SSGC, gas will be available in the morning from 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM and in the evening from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Announcement said that gas supply will remain suspended during the day from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and at night from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

The sui companies have advised citizens to strictly follow the announced timings to avoid inconvenience. On the other hand the consumers have also been warned against using gas compressors, stating that its use is illegal, unsafe, and unethical.  

Ahead of Ramazan, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority already announced a maximum price for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), fixing the consumer cap at Rs226.05 per kilogram, effective from February 1 to 28, 2026. The maximum price of an 11.8kg LPG cylinder set at Rs2,667.40, offering price certainty to consumers who rely on LPG for cooking and heating during the month.
