KARACHI — MariEnergies Limited and xLoop Digital celebrated the graduation of Cohort I of the Mari Digital Skills, Training & Employment Program at a ceremony held at xLoop Digital’s Karachi office.
The five-month programme trained 44 young people from rural areas of Pakistan, including five female participants, in Artificial Intelligence, Agentic Development and Full Stack Development. The programme combined structured learning with hands-on, project-based experience to prepare participants for careers in the technology sector. Significantly, all 44 graduates have been placed into internships and employment.
The ceremony was attended by Faheem Haider, Managing Director, MariEnergies; Naseem Qamar, Director HSE, MariEnergies; Mir Nasir, CEO and Founder of xLoop Digital and Danish Iqbal, Chairman, xLoop. Addressing the graduates, Mr. Faheem Haider emphasized the importance of continuous learning in a rapidly evolving world and announced that MariEnergies would support graduates seeking to pursue university-level education.
Naseem Qamar said that the initiative was designed to go beyond training and certification by creating a pathway from learning to employment and sustainable livelihoods. He highlighted the importance of connecting the talent and ambition of young people in MariEnergies’ operational areas with relevant opportunities.
All graduates received certificates, while top performers were recognized with shields and laptops. Three participants with 100% attendance were also awarded Evee electric bikes through a lucky draw. Cohort II of the programme is scheduled to commence in September 2026.
The programme reflects MariEnergies’ commitment to education, youth development, diversity, inclusion and employability, with a focus on creating opportunities and building capabilities for long-term community impact.
