ISLAMABAD (Jan 1) – Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) operator of Nashpa Exploration License (65 percent working interest), together with its joint partners- Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) 30 percent and Government Holdings (Pvt) Limited 5 percent carried interest- has made an oil and gas discovery over Datta Formation at its exploratory well Baragzai X-01 (Slant), located in District Kohat, KP.
the company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange that during cased hole drill stem test in Datta Formation (Jurassic age) the well flowed at the rate of 4100 barrels of oil per day and 10.5 million standard cubic feet per day of gas at 32/64” choke size with wellhead flowing pressure of 3880 psig. ends
