Gold and silver prices in Pakistan soared to record levels on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, continuing a steady upward trend in precious metals.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-carat gold per tola rose by Rs 4,100, reaching an unprecedented Rs 388,100.
Prices for ten grams of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 3,514, now at Rs 332,733. The 22-carat category also showed strong gains, with ten grams up by Rs 3,222 to Rs 305,016.

The surge is closely tied to international markets, where gold climbed by $41 per ounce to $3,654. Traders say global fluctuations directly influence Pakistan’s interbank rates, often leading to immediate adjustments in domestic markets.
Silver followed a similar trajectory. Its price per tola increased by Rs 20 to Rs 4,358, while ten grams went up by Rs 17 to Rs 3,736. Globally, silver gained $0.20, trading at $41.25 per ounce.
