Planning Meeting for Annual Technical Conference 2026 Held in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – The planning meeting for the Annual Technical Conference (ATC) & Exhibition 2026, organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers – Pakistan Section (SPE-Pakistan), was held in Islamabad. The meeting brought together leaders from the E&P industry for a briefing on the various events planned for the conference and to encourage their participation.

The response from the industry was overwhelmingly positive, with representatives from both national and international organizations operating in Pakistan expressing their continued support for the event.

The Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition is a flagship event of Pakistan’s petroleum sector and will take place on 28th and 29th of January 2026 in, Islamabad. The theme for this year’s conference is, “Energizing the Future from Within: Sustainably, Securely and Digitally”

ATC is one of the largest gatherings in the petroleum industry, attracting approximately 1,500 delegates from local and international companies, academia, and regulatory authorities. The accompanying exhibition features over 30 stalls, where exhibitors showcase the latest products, technologies, and innovations in the energy sector.

The event provides an important platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and fostering collaboration among industry leaders, technical experts, and stakeholders, reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to sustainable and secure energy development. ENDS
